Pain, loss, and trauma from the past sometimes impact life in the present making people feel "stuck". By addressing dysfunctional relationship patterns, grief, loss, trauma, anxiety and depression, people can find a way to move forward in life.
By blending a humanistic, mindful, strengths based approach with psychodrama, clients find a unique shift in perspective is available. Client healing is promoted by accessing creative strategies that stimulates momentum toward personal goals. This gentlly blended eclectic style has been formulated over 20 years of training and experience and provides a supportive and effective approach for clients. Believing that each client has the capacity to be resilient, the goal is to access resilient qualities which faciliate bringing forward each clients' best potential.
Resiliencey Group, meets 2 times monthly, provides clients an opportunity to foster their resilient personal qualities. When facing challenging life circumstances it can be difficult to remember or to access the positive and strong qualities that have helped in the past. This group offers participants an opportunity to express feelings experience connection and emotional support. This group is especially helpful for individuals experiencing significant loss, i.e. loss of jobs, homes, relationships (divorce/break-up), loss of health due to illness, etc. and for people who have anxiety, low self esteem, trauma, family of origin or relationship difficulties. Groups use psychodrama, psychoeducation, discussion, and other expressive and empowering therapeutic interventions.
Grief & Loss Group. Grief is a natural part of life. Although the process of grieving can be painful & difficult. This group helps people through the grieving process, past their pain, and into areas of acceptance. This group is for adults who have lost a loved one. This is ideal for individuals who have complicated & extended loss issues. Groups use psychodrama, psychoeducation, discussion, and other expressive and empowering therapeutic interventions. Group meets on the 3rd Monday evening of the month from 6:30-8:30 in Oakhurst, NJ.
