In Spring 2018, New Jersey expanded access to state financial aid programs to New Jersey Dreamers.

This was a victory for the entire state of New Jersey, but in order to realize its promise New Jersey Dreamers organized ourselves and fellow Dreamers! That's why we created nj4dreamers.com, complete with FAQ sheets and a video tutorial with instructions on how to apply!

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Nedia Morsy, Lead Organizer at Make the Road New Jersey, directly at 908.967.3478. And please encourage your friends (Dreamers, educators, community leaders, etc.) to find us on nj4dreamers.com!

Make the Road New Jersey builds the power of immigrant, working-class & Latinx communities to achieve dignity and respect through community organizing, high-quality legal services, policy innovation, and transformative education. Founded in 2014. Make the Road New Jersey’s centers in Elizabeth, Perth Amboy, Passaic, and satellite hub in Newark are welcoming spaces for community organizing, leadership development, and legal, health, and educational services. Every week, hundreds of poor and working-class immigrants and people of color – young people and adults – come together to fight for dignity and respect in our communities.

Annually, Make the Road New Jersey has mobilized more than 15,000 people to take action to win landmark immigrant and workers in support of immigrant and workers’ rights policies in New Jersey and beyond. Our legal services, health outreach, and educational programming reach more than 100,000 low-income immigrants and people of color with critical, life-sustaining services and transformational education.

Make the Road New Jersey is a project of Make the Road States, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
