Guardianship Assistance Program (GAP)

GAP provides affordable guardianship legal services to parents and caretakers of special needs youth. In NJ once a special needs child turns 18 they are considered a legal adult and parents can no longer make decisions on their behalf. Obtaining a legal guardianship enables parents to continue to protect their child and make medical and important decisions on their behalf.
