Equal Opportunity Support Services is an organization qualified by the NJ State Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) to provide services that assist individuals with disabilities in gaining access to needed medical, social, educational, vocational, and other services. 

Equal Opportunity Support Services works in partnership with the person, his/her family, DDD, and service providers to tear down barriers that prevent individuals with developmental/ intellectual, and/or behavioral disabilities from living their best lives. We provide quality supports that help individuals and their loved ones identify a person’s needs, strengths, and goals, and develop a personalized plan to attain those goals. 

We provide the following services free to individuals:

  • Support Coordination
  • Transition Into Adulthood (for graduating high schools students or youth entering the adult services system)
  • Referral & Information
  • Support Brokerage
Eligibility People 21 and older with a developmental/ intellectual disability Graduating High School students with a developmental/ intellectual disability transitioning into adulthood
