Counseling Support Services, LLC

A commitment to providing high-quality culturally responsive clinical support services in a safe, secure, and healing environment to individuals and families with behavior and mental health care needs. We are committed to equipping each individual and family with the tools and skills required to transform their lives to restore healthy family and community functioning.

Individual Counseling
This process focuses on a single participant presenting for services with concerns related to a wide range of behavioral, emotional, or mental health issues. Goals are related to developing skills and strategies to enhance health and wellness, by improving the relationship with one’s self.

Group Counseling
Interactive and dynamic sessions are facilitated to meet the needs of multiple people that may share common problems. Groups provide opportunities for individuals to receive support, learn from each other, and increase motivation to change.

Family Counseling
Involves identified family members looking for an opportunity to address relational concerns and work towards long-term solutions.  It is found that most individuals presenting for behavior, emotional or mental health complaints, eventually learn how the family of origin or current family dynamic can perpetuate the problem or substantially assist in resolving it. Therefore, family sessions are considered an integral part of individual counseling.

Youth Groups (male & female)
A 6-8-week counseling group designed to help youth overcome challenges and enhance their capacity to function in a stabilized manner at home, school, and in-community. In this collaborative process, boys and girls ages 12-19 develop positive coping skills, social skills, and life skills to help increase their self-concept, self-control, and decision-making strategies.

Clinical Supervision & Consultation
This service is offered as a series of workshops, seminars, and training presentations to other professionals and organizations, that may work with children and families impacted by behavior and mental health challenges, to provide personal or professional development, to support preparation for the examination and State Board licensing and offer clinical guidance in best practice therapeutic intervention.
