If you have a child, teen, college student, or are a young adult with ADHD, ADD, LD, and are looking for a strength-based approach to dealing with ADHD, you have come to the right place! The more students or young adults can build on their strengths and develop strategies to support their weaknesses, whether they are Executive Functioning Skills, Social Skills, and/or other areas of weakness, the more they can be successful in school and in life.

Additionally, understanding how ADHD impacts a person and their family, both positively and negatively can shed light on the type of environment conducive to supporting someone with ADHD, ADD or LD.

Jacqueline Caruso-Smith, M.Ed., AAC, is a personal coach who works with children, teens, and college students and their parents and young adults with ADD, ADHD, LD and their families who support them.

Jacqueline earned her AAC from the ADD Coaching Academy (ADDCA), which is licensed through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

She has over 25 years of experience and accomplishments in the Education and Training Fields. After a teaching career; being a Program Manger for the NJ State Department of Education; a Training Manager at Merck & Co.; as well as serving two terms on the Shrewsbury Borough Board of Education; Jacqui is currently a Certified ADHD Coach.

With her company, ADHD Strategies 4 Success in Shrewsbury, NJ, she coaches children, teenagers, college students and their parents and young adults who need support with Executive Functioning Skills through a process that links setting goals with daily behavior in order to accomplish goals.

Her approach is to focus on her clients’ strengths and help them develop strategies to support their areas of weakness. She works closely with her clients’ parents to ensure her clients are developing habits to serve them successfully in school and in life. She holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Psychology from The College of New Jersey (formerly TSC) and a Master of Arts in Education and Supervision from Rutgers the State University.
