Community Committee - Recruiting Foster & Adoptive Parents

Seeking concerned community members and other organizations to assist in identifying new foster/adoptive families and spreading recruitment information.

The committee meets on a monthly basis at the Monmouth Area Office of DYFS, Monmouth Park Corporate Center 1, 185 Hwy 36 West, West Long Branch, NJ. Presently, the committee is comprised of DYFS staff, foster/adoptive parents, a Child Placement Review Board volunteer, and representatives from Acelero Learning, Monmouth Cares, Hispanic Affairs, Long Branch Concordance, Foster and Adoptive Family Services, and the Keansburg Resource Network.

The committee is currently striving to increase the number of foster/adoptive homes in these five areas: Asbury Park, Long Branch, Keansburg, homes for teens and sibling.
