TOMS RIVER, NJ (June 6, 2018) - The Toms River Seaport Society is excited to announce the Wooden Boat Festival returns on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Free and open to the public from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., the summer celebration brings together handsomely crafted boats, food vendors, local artisans, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities to the recently renovated Huddy Park (39 E Water St, Toms River, NJ).
The annual event welcomes seafarers and community members alike to admire the timeless handcrafted vessels, shop from a bevy of local artisans, partake in kid-friendly activities, grab a bite, and enjoy a beautiful day in the scenic waterfront park. Patrons are encouraged to stop by the Seaport Ship Store upon arrival to purchase this year’s limited edition event t-shirt while supplies last.
In conjunction with the Wooden Boat Festival, attendees can also visit the Summer in the Streets Festival that will be taking place on Washington Street; is hosted by the Toms River Business Improvement District. Event goers can also look to ride the new Downtown Trolley featuring a display ad of the Toms River Seaport Society - trolley services will be active from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
With an abundance of family-fun activities for community members to enjoy, the Toms River Seaport Society looks forward to hosting another successful event on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Huddy Park (39 E Water St, Toms River, NJ).
