The award-winning film, “Equal Means Equal,” examines real-life stories and precedent-setting legal cases, from workplace harassment to domestic violence, and rape and sexual assault to the foster care system. Its unflinching look at how women are treated in the US today reveals the inadequacy of present laws that claim to protect women and testifies to the urgency of ratifying the Equal Rights Amendment.
