On Oct. 18, the Long Branch Free Public Library will offer a program entitled Disability Resources Showcase.  This program is a forum for people with disabilities, their loved ones, and all other members of the community.  It will be held in the Community Room at the Main Library at 328 Broadway, Long Branch, NJ.  Speakers will address the resources available to members of the community with disabilities of various kinds.  Speakers include Officer Kim Leavy of the Long Branch Police Department, Lisa Ford of the Arc, Liz Burns of the Talking Book & Braille Center, Stan Soden of MOCEANS, and librarian Janet Birckhead.  There will be a question and answer period and flyers from other organizations that help people with disabilities will be available.  Light refreshments will be served.
